- Is car/motorbike in Sabah more expensive than Peninsula?
- How much is the cost of shipping a car from Peninsula to Sabah?
- How much is rental for a decent house/room, located in vicinity of Kota Kinabalu town?
- How much does a plate of chicken rice cost in Kota Kinabalu?
- Does Sabah people speak Hakka? (Oh I hope Sabah is not a Chinese Hokkien-majority town. And I speak broken Mandarin.)
Kota Kinabalu is so far from my home state, and it seems that life is offering me more than what I expect!

hahahha....yes it is much more expensive if you were to compare with peninsular....even Gardenia bread there cost rm4 while here rm2.90. If you were to rent a contena it will cost you around 3k to ship your vehicle over. Keep me posted your location....i can come tumpang you or nata wen i go over for holiday :) yahoooo!!

1. Yes it is more expensive. e.g: vios PM : RM80k++ , here it ll b RM90k++.
2.not sure..but pretty sure it ll be >1k. think it s around 1k - 3k.
3.not sure.but my sis stayin at 3 rooms,fully furnished house at beverly hills,rent : RM900. so decent house should be less then that.
4.not sure either.depends on the shop. but most probably rm4.50- rm6.00. but if u got there..make sure to try Rafflesia Chicken Hut at Karamunsing (Shopping complex) SBO staff surely know them.cuz there are some dept bases in Karamunsing.not sure bout urs though.
5.Not sure bout this ^^p but wut i know, they usually communicate in english.

i don't know the exact answers to your questionnaires because i personally haven't been there also, but i heard sabahan chicks are "chun"...:P so that made it another plus point for working in sabah..:P
