OMG I Bangs!

Sigh...I sucks in parking car. This is the first injury (28th Sept 2008) I had caused to my younger brother's little baby Wira. The front bumper skirting is torn and I have to tie it temporarily with plastic string. Else it will drop down while I drive the car home. He will grunt, ad nauseam because he LOVE his car a lotttt!

And this is the injury to my own Iswara (some time ago during internship in KL). This is even more embarrassing. I banged the guard house of my previous rented unit in Bdr Sri Permaisuri. Sorry Mr-Cengal-Condominium.

Lesson learned:

  1. Be careful while parking. Both injuries are on the driver's front side.
  2. Do not touch brother's car.
  3. Do not drive under nicotine deprivation. (Wira case)
  4. Do not drive if you feel sleepy. (Iswara case)

Simple (Tagged by Shern Shiou)

People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any questions that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

Tag 8 people to do this quiz and those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by and cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.

1) If your lover betrayed you, what would your reaction be?
Wake me up from the sleep after you have packed all your stuffs. Do not leave without a word or just with a note. Take all with you but my heart.

2) If you have a dream to come true, what would it be?
Enough cash to build my own Victorian house.

3) Are u sleepy now?
Yes. I deprived myself of niccotine.

4) Are u confused with what lies ahead of you?
I know what I want, what I need and what I have.

5) What’s your ideal lover like?
I will not hide this. I want someone who knows how to cook, how to manage the household well and "can handle a manual transmission car without power steering". She need not be a graduate; can teach our children ABC & 123 is good enough.

6) Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
Loving someone.

7) What is the one thing that pisses you off about the opposite sex?
Girls who have no confidence about themselves.

8)How far will you go for the one you love the most?
As far as she is willing, for me.

9) Is there anything that makes you unhappy these days?
No.

10)What is your favorite fairytale of all time and why?
I can't recall my favorite fairytale.

I wanna tag.

Why Is It Wrong To Believe That I Am Right?

WARNING : This is an emotionally-charged posting. Do not proceed if you are a racist.

***

President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America once said,
"...teaching morality doesn't mean imposing my moral values on others. It means sharing wisdom, giving reasons for believing as I do - and then trusting others to think and judge for themselves."
An incident of moral policing in UTP campus compound prompted me to blog about morality. Although my ramblings will be not as informatic as your Moral Studies textbook, I hope by putting this up, people will be aware of this.

I was merely putting up a new car sticker onto a friend's front windscreen when two (2) men on a bike approaches us and asked "Er..tengah buat apa nih?" (It means : What are you doing here")

My instantaneous answer is "Tak buat apa-apa pon. Tampal sticker kereta saja." (Meaning : I'm just putting up the new car sticker!)

"Jangan lama-lama sangat." (Meaning : Don't be here for too long)

The two men on the bike took another two round-turning at the parking lot before feeling contented to leave.

For your information, every vehicle in UTP will be provided with a sticker with a minimal fee of RM2.o0. We will be granted easy access provided we exhibit the sticker on our vehicle. We are now given a period of 2 weeks to renew our car sticker for the year July 2009.

Why is it wrong to believe that I am right? I believe that I am right for helping my friend putting up her car sticker. I believe I am right for doing it and I do no offense by abiding to UTP's rule and regulation on vehicle access. Why suspect me for close proximity? Why suspect me? By sitting inside the car at night, nothing supervenes. We are not going to do anything in it.

And am I wrong for close proximity at the first place?

My dear Rakan Masjid friends, thank you for being so caring, but I am not bound to Syariah Laws. Please do not advance beyond the usual limit (READ : proper limit) of privacy. Please do not impose your moral values on me. Please do not paint a dirty perception that sitting inside the car at the car park at night will lead to sex. You will not suspect other people unless you yourself has a dirty and filthy mind.

My dear Rakan Masjid friends, we are living side-by-side and thus please respect each other. The car park is well lit and no one of sane mind would want to have their "heavenly time" there. I rather book a decent hotel outside.

Period.

Sightings at Ipoh-Lumut Highway

An unprecedented sighting. An old woman at Simpang Lima intersection, Ipoh-Lumut Highway. She is not the ordinary auntie you can see at markets. Sorry to say, I think she is retarded. But what is so interesting about her?

She walked for approximately 8 km from Simpang Lima to Federal Route 5 old road, leading to Sitiawan town. And that is really far for a woman of her age. I think she is 50 plus of Chinese ethnicity.

Map : The auntie's 8km long walk route

Whenever I see neglected old people, I feel very sad for them. I wish I could change the world to be a better place. I can't find good words to construct a sentence now because I feel utterly disgusted by the way certain youngsters treat their parents. Is this how they repay parent's love?

Maybe Jack Neo should produce more films like "Money Not Enough". I remain sanguine that movies can play an effective role in edutainment.

Insecurity

All along my Final Year Project works, I thought of SpringerLink as one journal database for engineering studies. Today, this morning I found one article related to psychology in SpringerLink. Never mind, don't bother about the article. It is just a pre-cursor to my post.

One fine night, somebody posed me a question regarding men's insecurities. It is just irrefutable that man and woman are different in many ways. Man act differently and man think differently. In the rest of my post, the term man and guy are being use interchangeably and practically both of them share the same meaning.

She further asked me to present a few situations where men will feel insecure with a "living example" for each situation. Allow me to put the situations in the language that we use in a daily basis. But a "living example"? Maybe no. Figure it out yourself! :P

Example of situation where men will feel insecure:
  1. The guy felt disrespected by the girl.
  2. The girl is smarter than the guy. (Performance in study or work, or both)
  3. The girl is richer than the guy. (Girl kept her savings in FD)
  4. The guy is fat and ugly compared to his peers, but is in relationship with an attractive girl. Same applies to a skinny guy with an attractive girl.
  5. The guy is trying hard to be romantic, but is not completely sure of how to be one.
  6. The guy is having low sex performance.
  7. A guy who is in a long term relationship with a girl, suddenly to find out that the girl is very close to another guy.
Although providing solutions is my type of job (I am a proud site-man), I am not Mr-Fix-It than can fix every situation. I myself do feel insecure sometimes. Read more about it here.

After all, I handle a 7.85 acre construction site better than I handle a single girl.

Arghhh I sucks in that~

JUXTAPOSITION OF 2004 and 2008

I did not have a chance to blog about the recent convocation of my room-mate, Shern Shiou until now. Projects, reports, assignments and all-the-related-hanky-panky came back-to-back in 2 weeks time. Worst thing is that, the due dates coincide with tests.

Mun Yoke was there too, because this is a joint convocation of January 2003, May 2003 , July 2003 and January 2004 (IT students). God knows how long it has been since I met her. Frankly, if not because Shern Shiou and Mun Yoke, I won't be staying back for this convocation. I want to see them in their robes! Smart and pretty~

Of course I won't miss any chance to take pictures with them.

Ban San looks very much "contractor-like" with his serious face. On the right is Jia Ann, my current room mate.

Aizat a.k.a Pervy

One of the HINDRAF5 strongmen on the run, hiding in cowboy town of Tronoh

Note how Shen (far-left) looks like in 2008. I got something for you in the end of this post.

Tsae Y'ng is my latest tease-victim. Her boyfriend, SIZHI has acquired my super-skill of "Press-release-press-release" and is using it against me now. (Sorry for the direct Cantonese-English translation)

Lenglui daikajie in her robes, but why am I standing like a pole?

Note how Shen (far-left) looks like again.

They throw their hat and did not manage to grab it back (sayur siot)

And....

This is what i call nerd.
